Description

The acronym element allows you to define the text between an opening and closing acronym element as an acronym.

Attributes

Some attributes of the acronym element are:

class	ondblclick
id	onkeypress
onclick	style
title	onkeyup

Examples

This is how an acronym would be written in a document:

<p>Please don't make me <acronym title="Laugh Out Loud">LOL</acronym>.</p>

*The "title" attribute is used to define the full version of the acronym above*

This is how it will appear:

Please don't make me LOL.

This is another example of an acronym code:

acronym title="National Aeronautics and Space Administration">NASA</acronym>.

This is how it will appear:
